The GENERATION GAP by ROBERT

Written by ROBERT

The generation gap means the difference in thinking of
different generations. Like thinking about privacy, talking, the latest fashions… and more.

Do you not talk to your parents these days? Then I’m sure you have a gap with your parents. Do you think friends are more important than family? Then you must have a gap with your family. The gap is a wall that stands between you and your family.

The generation gap is very strange. Sometimes a happy family can be broken in one day by the gap. Let me show one short movie...

There is a bus station. There is a woman there. There are a fridge and some beds there. She puts some groceries in the fridge and goes somewhere by bus. After that, a boy comes there by bus. He eats noodles and goes to study by bus. Night falls, and the boy returns, but he doesn’t look happy. He studies all night and then goes to bed. Now his mom and dad come. They see their son’s face and go to bed quietly.

As you can see in this movie (That I created for the writing) the gap is starting by silence. Everybody imagines families talking and laughing with each other, but this dream ends so fast. The children want free time to relax and do things they like, but they can’t… and that’s the problem.

We’ve talked about the generation gap, but how can we stop this? Maybe some families can overcome this problem. But only some can. The generation gap always happens when a new generation is born. The best way to overcome it is by understanding each other. Only understanding the gap between generations will open their mouths and their hearts.
Thanks for reading.

  1. haha, Robber, would you like us to call you that way? sound a good name^^

What do you mean when you wrote'' open their mouth''? to eat each other before they can speak their thought?^^

Anyway, I love the part about '' understanding '', once we spend enough time with each other, we'll understand each other more, both the good habits and the bad habits, and to make a happy family, we'll all need a little bit of something called love, too^^
